About Us

Deslandes Excavation, LLC was founded by owner, Jill V. Deslandes and her son, Jim Deslandes, Jr. Jill and Jim both have extensive experience in the construction industry, having been successful with another family-owned business, Deslandes Construction, Inc., in operation since 1963. Jill’s 25 plus years' experience in financial management combined with Jim’s education, management and field experience makes them an accomplished team.

Owner/President
Jill, President of Deslandes Excavation, has over 35 years of corporate experience in production management and corporate accounting. In 1995 Jill joined her husband as Business Manager in the family business, Deslandes Construction.

Jill now works side by side with her son, Jim Jr, managing the financial side of Deslandes Excavation.

James Deslandes, Jr.

Operations Manager
Jim has been working in the construction industry for over 15 years, starting first in the family business, Deslandes Construction. After earning his Degree in Construction Management Jim worked for a global construction firm as a Project Manager. He then returned to the family business and assumed the role of Vice President of Operations.

Jim now manages all operations of Deslandes Excavation and is focused on providing a high level of customer service and quality performance on all projects.
